More than 25 branches belong to the apostolic movement of Schoenstatt. United in their spirituality they form together the Schoenstatt Family according Father Kentenich's image of the Church:
Every formation of family life should bring to light their own identity and unfold their God-willed vocation in the service of the entire work.
- Each member community is officially independent.
- The Secular Institutes and the Federations are the core communities within the movement. Their members live without vows according to the evangelical counsels.
- The covenant of love unites all in a Marian life style and thus engages them to work for new evangelisation within our Church and world.
We stand next to the Family League and Family Federation (www.familienbund.net) as one of three communities for families within the Schoenstatt Movement. As an Institute for families our founder regarded us as the main support and spirit behind the family movement which should radiate a positive strength and provide other couples with courage for their own life style. As a community we should become the engine for a large modern Christian family movement.
