Tianjiajing June 22, 2007 (Zenit): The Marian Shrine „Our Lady of Mount Carmel“ in Henan Province is to be blown up by July 15 at the instigation of the provincial government. Every year, on the 16th of July, the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, more than 40,000 people make their pilgrimage to this sanctuary.

The provincial government sees this as a religious activity which the law does not permit. On the 16th of July, the Schoenstatt Family Institute celebrates the foundation day of the Community every year. We ask for the solidarity prayer, so that the Mother of God can also be the victor over Communism.
